The second round was much different with Tim taking  Zlotnicki down from the start and totally controlling the fight for the entire round, mounting twice and finishing just as strong as the beginning of the fight.

There was some confussion after this as the judges scored the fight a draw and a third round was supposed to take place, although was never mentioned in the rules meeting. By the time corners and judges had decided on the outcome both fighters had gone cold causing the verdict to be a draw and definate rematch for the future.

Making his B class pro debut Ben Rose took on Latvian pankration fighter Vadim Shpakov. This fight took a regular pattern from the first round as Shpakov jumped into a standing guillotine on Rose, who casaully walked across the cage and dumped his opponent away from his corner. From then on Ben brutally grounded and pounded the Latvian fighter especially to the right side of his ribs and his left eye, nearly shutting it by the end of the first. The next two rounds were the same as Ben controlled his opponent on the floor against the cage with ground and pound and winning the fight easily on decision.

Tim fighting at welterweight will take on Damian Zlotnicki at semi-pro, and Ben Rose now moving up to pro class B rules will fight latvian born fighter Vadim Shpakov.

Tap or Snap heavyweight Wayne Buck will now compete on the Clash of Warriors show ‘Rough as Hell’ on the 14th June. Wayne who should have fought on the cancelled show B.F.C, will now face the same opponent he was due to fight on the B.F.C show on the Nottingham based show instead. That brings the total up to 5 lads competing from our gym.

Luke Brown (65kg)  - After some time out, Luke looks set to come back strong from his loss last year.
